LOS ANGELES -- We're weeks away from finding out who will be the next 'American Idol,' but that isn't stopping the singers in the competition from going on the record.

The 12 finalists from this year's competition have recorded a charity single to benefit the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund for the victims of the south Asia tsunamis.
The single, out Tuesday, is 'When You Tell Me That You Love Me' -- a hit for Diana Ross in England 1991."
