The Palladium Times Online: "OSWEGO STATE STUDENT HELPS ORGANIZE TSUNAMI RELIEF EFFORT
By MAX DELSIGNORE, Intern
OSWEGO - After seeing the contributions to tsunami-relief efforts, Oswego State student Adam Phelps wanted to do his part.
Phelps, with assistance from the Student-Athlete Advisory Council, immediately began organizing fund-raising efforts for tsunami relief. He said seeing reports of the disaster in Asia motivated him to help.
'The sights were just incredible,' said Phelps. 'After being involved with a food drive, I thought it would be best to start raising money for families in need.'
Dani Drews, assistant athletic director, said the donations to the local Red Cross reached over $1,100. She said the best part was seeing college students willing to help."
