Peninsula Community Foundation Distributes Funds to Five International Relief Organizations
SAN MATEO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 02/03/2005 -- Peninsula Community Foundation, a leader in innovative philanthropy in the San Francisco Bay Area and across the globe, today announced that its South Asia Relief Fund has raised over $410,000 since the fund was opened on December 29, 2004. Monies raised in this fund are being distributed on a regular basis to five pre-selected international relief organizations this week. These organizations are: CARE, Give2Asia's Tsunami Recovery Fund, OXFAM America, Red Cross, and United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). "
