Eight-year-old Canadian fundraiser visits Thai children in tsunami-hit region

Eight-year-old Canadian fundraiser visits Thai children in tsunami-hit region: "PATONG BEACH, Thailand (AP) - Most eight-year-olds visiting Thailand are probably keen to focus on playtime. But Bilaal Rajan, a Toronto boy who has raised millions of dollars for tsunami relief, was busy attending to his duties Sunday as a child spokesman for the United Nations' children's agency.
The day after the Dec. 26 disaster, Bilaal launched UNICEF's Canada Kids Earthquake Challenge, talking at schools and encouraging every child in Canada to raise $100 for UNICEF's work to help children in the affected areas. His efforts brought in $2.5 million."
