Former Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton have decided to grant $1 million to a Minnesota-driven project to restore fishing boats the tsunami destroyed in 14 Thai villages in December.

The project, started by the American Refugee Committee in Minneapolis, is the first to receive donations that the former presidents have collected since the White House asked them to help raise tsunami-relief funds in the private sector."
